In 2012 Disley Cricket Club will be running a 1st and 2ndXI in the Meller Braggins Cheshire Cricket League, a Sunday XI (The Rams), a midweek T20 side and Juniors from U11 to U18.

1stXI Sign Off With Draw as Bunbury Are Promoted

Bun: 175-5 ; Dis: 133-8

The 1stXI dodged the showers to complete 90 overs in a draw with Bunbury, Jake Reynolds striking a fine 54 to give the visitors a nervous wait before it was confirmed they had been promoted as Runners-Up in Division 3 - Disley finishing 8th.

2ndXI Shut Out Bunbury with 10-Wicket Victory

Bun: 85 ; Dis: 86-1

The 2ndXI finished in style with a 10-wicket win that made the early morning trek to Bunbury worth the bother. Adam Burgess collected 5 wickets before opening pair Andy Chapman (49*) and Ian Ashkettle knocked off the required runs.
